OPPORTUNITY: Festival Administrators (2)

The Youth Infringement Festival is seeking TWO Festival Administrators for the summer of 2022. These positions are funded by the Canada Summer Jobs program with the Government of Canada. In accordance with this program, the candidates must be 30 years of age or under during the position.

Contract Dates: ASAP to the end of July 2022. This position has the potential to grow into a part-time position (5-10h a week) during the year until April 2023.
Remuneration: $ 15.00/h at 30h/week
Reports to: General Manager
The Administrators will:
Work collaboratively with the General Manager to create an implement an outreach strategy for the 2022-2023 season;
Coordinate 6-10 workshops for existing and new Community Partners;
Aid the General Manager with communications tasks such as social media management and drafting newsletters;
Maintain contact with the General Manager by attending biweekly check-in sessions.
The ideal Candidate would be/have:
A desire to build and improve leadership skills;
An interest in arts management, theatre and/or live performing arts;
Demonstrate strong written and verbal communications skills;
A resident of Ottawa or a surrounding area;
Bilingualism would be considered an asset but is not required.
